Visionary California designer Sue Wong was recently honored at the third annual “Outstanding Asian American Women Who Dared” charity event, held Feb. 27 at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles. Bangladesh RMG sector’s local value addition up 3.66%: Bangladesh Bank
In the second quarter (October-December) of the current fiscal year, the local value addition in Bangladesh’s readymade garment (RMG) sector increased by 3.66 percentage points compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Despite this, the sector experienced a 7.46 per cent decline in export earnings during the same period, alongside a 17.93 per cent reduction in the cost of raw material imports, as per a quarterly review report by the Bangladesh Bank, the country’s central bank.

Tim Hamilton Joins Nike as Vice President of Men’s Apparel
CFDA Award-winning men’s designer Tim Hamilton has joined Nike.
Hamilton will serve as vice president of men’s apparel for the sports brand. He started on March 11 and will report to the men’s creative director, a post that is currently vacant.
