PEI’s chief public health officer Dr. Heather Morrison is warning Islanders against using online buy, sell and swap sites — for their own safety and to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
She made the comments in her daily public health briefing in Charlottetown Monday.

Commissioned by delivery specialist Hermes, the 2014 Parcel Deliveries Usage and Attitude Survey polled 2,000 UK consumers and 1,000 each in France and Germany aged 18 and above who had shopped online three or more times in the past three months.

By Anjali KochharOnline shoppers say easy return policy is the key driver for them to shop online, according to the independent survey conducted by software platform company, Narvar, across 500 Indian digital shoppers. The survey said, 52 percent of digital shoppers look for a reliable return policy.
The survey further said that older people’s rate of easy return policy was slightly higher than their younger counterparts. While 56 percent of the people who seek an easy online return solution are in the age group of 30-44 years, 65 percent of them are in the age group of 45-60 years.
