Chicago Public Schools is set to take additional steps to revamp its inventory management system, after a district watchdog found that more than 77,000 CPS-owned devices were marked as lost or stolen in recent years.
The Chicago Board of Education this month will approve a month-long public comment period on proposed changes to the district’s existing asset and inventory management policy. The government is right on the path to achieving the $300 billion electronics manufacturing target which will be a massive 20-25 times growth in almost a decade, Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, said on Tuesday.
