Provincial carriers are reminded that effective December 1, 2023, those that travel more than 160 kilometers outside their home terminal or temporary work site, and that are required to track hours of service by filling out a record of duty status, will be required to have electronic logging devices installed in commercial vehicles. These devices are used to track a driver’s hours and monitor compliance with the Hours of Service Regulations.
