Many of our items have been made at Beamish or by local suppliers and are exclusive to the museum – they also make great gifts!
Bring a bit of Beamish Museum into your home with enamel signs, magnets, suffragette sashes, engine driver kits, Top Trumps, posters, tea towels, biscuits and more, there’s so much to choose from!
An exclusive Beamish version of the iconic board game Monopoly, which features some of the museum’s much-loved attractions, has also been launched as part of the new online store.
Also available is the museum’s Mr Kerrison’s cold creams, which recently won Best Product Award 2020 in the Cultural Enterprises Awards, and are made exclusively for Beamish. They are based on a 1900s recipe from a handwritten notebook in the museum’s collection, which belongs to Sunderland pharmacist Alfred Kerrison, the great uncle of journalist Kate Adie.
Beamish is a charity and we rely on income from our ticket sales, online shop, catering and retail outlets, Friends and supporters – your support means so much.
Beamish is currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, in line with Government and public health instructions for museums and heritage attractions. The museum is continuing to monitor Government guidance, with the safety of visitors, staff and volunteers as the top priority as always, and we will keep everyone updated about our reopening.
