Electronic City CEO wins Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award

Jakarta (ANTARA News) – Chief Executive Officer of PT Electronic City Indonesia Tbk. Ingrid Pribadi was selected as the recipient of the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award in the Outstanding Entrepreneurship category.

Electronic City’s press release stated that the award was handed over by Datok William Ng as CEO of Enterprise Asia accompanied by M. Taufik as Expert Staff to the Minister for Business Climate Development and Partnerships of the Ministry of Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia, at the JW Marriott hotel, Jakarta.

“Out of a total of 80 candidates, he was one of the 12 winners. “As an independent woman, this award is the result of her persistence in establishing a business and running it with a mature strategy and concept as well as a commitment to continue to innovate so that good company performance is achieved.” said Fery Wiraatmadja, Commercial and Investor Relations Director of Electronic City.

The award as Outstanding Entrepreneurship was given for his achievements, one of which was in establishing and leading Electronic City.

The company was listed on the stock exchange on July 13 2013.

Electronic City operates 66 stores spread across Indonesia carrying 250 well-known electronic brands throughout the world.

“We hope that in the future, this award can be a motivation to continue carrying out its commitment to innovate to develop Electronic City as a pioneer of modern electronic retail in Indonesia.” said Ferry.

The Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award (APEA) is an award organized by Enterprise Asia, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Kuala Lumpur since 2007.

This award has been held six times in Indonesia.
